Terms & Conditions

Effective: April 6, 2026
These terms cover what to expect when you work with us. We want the relationship to be straightforward and fair for both of us. Have questions? Email nicolas@latamlinkus.com anytime.

What you need to know:

  • You're using SentinelOS for tax prep, bookkeeping, and accounting services — detailed scope is in your engagement letter
  • You agree to give us accurate information, provide documents on time, and review our work before anything is filed
  • We're responsible for preparing quality work; you're responsible for accuracy of information you provide
  • Pricing and payment terms depend on your service plan (Ready to File, Full Service, or Comprehensive)
  • We may send you texts/WhatsApp updates, and you can reply STOP anytime to unsubscribe

By using SentinelOS, you agree to these terms

When you sign up and use our platform, you're agreeing to follow the terms laid out here. If something doesn't work for you, just let us know before you start.

What we do

SentinelOS helps with tax return preparation, bookkeeping, accounting support, and assistance with tax ID applications (ITIN, EIN, etc.). We also coordinate with you through email, SMS, and WhatsApp to keep things moving smoothly.

Your specific services will be detailed in an engagement letter, which spells out exactly what we're doing, how much it costs, and what's expected from both sides.

Your responsibilities

To help us serve you well, we ask that you:

Pricing and payment

We offer three main service tiers: Ready to File for basic prep, Full Service for comprehensive help, and Comprehensive for complete management. We also charge $0.75–$1.25 per transaction if you need cleanup or corrections to past filings.

Your engagement letter will specify exactly what you're paying and when payment is due. If payment is late, we may pause services until it's settled. Fees are non-refundable once we've done the work, unless the law says otherwise.

AI helps us work smarter (but humans decide)

We use AI and machine learning to speed up our intake process, organize your data, and suggest recommendations. But AI is just a tool. Every suggestion gets reviewed and signed off by a real, qualified professional before anything happens on your case. AI helps us work faster; humans make the decisions.

Text and WhatsApp messages

When you give us your phone number, you're okay with us sending you texts and WhatsApp messages about your case — things like engagement updates, document requests, and filing status. We'll only send them as often as needed while you're working with us.

To stop texts: Reply STOP to any SMS and we'll remove you immediately. Costs: Standard message rates from your carrier will apply. WhatsApp works a bit differently since it goes through Meta's system.

Our work and your ownership

Everything we create — templates, strategies, analyses, reports — belongs to us. You can't copy, share, or publicly use our methods without asking first.

But your personal information and tax documents? Those belong to you. We only use them to do the work you hired us for, and we protect them carefully.

Our responsibilities and yours

Here's what we promise: We'll prepare quality work and follow tax law. We'll protect your information and be available when you need us.

Here's what we can't promise: We can't guarantee your tax position will survive an audit (tax law is complex), we can't control what the IRS decides, and we can't promise specific tax savings. Our work is based on the information you give us, and results depend on many factors outside our control.

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damages (like lost profits or business opportunity), and our total liability for any claim won't exceed the fees you paid us in the past 12 months.

No guarantees (the legal reality of taxes)

We provide our services as-is, without guarantees. We can't promise:

Tax law is complicated and changes often. What works depends on your exact situation, the documents you have, and how the IRS interprets things — much of which we can't control.

How disputes get resolved

These terms follow Missouri law. If something goes wrong, both of us agree to try talking it out in good faith first, before heading to court. Any legal action would happen in Kansas City, Missouri.

Privacy and your data

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using SentinelOS, you agree to those practices. The Privacy Policy is part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our business and the law evolve. We'll post the new version here with a new date. If you keep using us, you're accepting the changes. If you don't agree with changes, you can stop using our services.

Starting and ending your engagement

Either you or we can end the engagement with written notice. When that happens:

We reserve the right to end the engagement if you violate these terms or if we see legal or business risks.

If part of these terms becomes invalid

If a court says some part of these terms isn't enforceable, we'll adjust that part minimally to make it work, and everything else stays in effect.

The complete agreement

These Terms & Conditions, your engagement letter, and our Privacy Policy make up the whole agreement between us. They replace any earlier conversations or agreements.
